The captured screen is an image and can be edited in the supplied image editor. You can take the image into other image edit programs, if you like. The native editor will let you do annotations, markers, special effects or other alterations on the image that you have. The image can be saved in any one of several formats that include bitmap, EMF, EXIF, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF or WMF.

You can send the picture to the printer or as an email attachment also besides saving to clipboard mentioned earlier. The tool allows you to use a magnifier window to define the capture window precisely. Cursor position information can be read out to aid the process. Parts of the image can have a pixellation pattern to blur any information you need to keep confidential. This is one feature that could be very useful and not many capture tools provide it.
